Mexi-Can has four offices in Mexico with dedicated recruiters. We cooperate with many local agencies including government employment counsellors, local advanced learning institutions, various companies, and church groups to help identify candidates for employment in Canada.

Mexi-Can encourages all Canadian employers to ‘be our guest’ at our Mexican offices. We will provide a short list of qualified, pre-screened candidates for consideration. This gives the employer the opportunity to meet the candidate prior to their arrival in Canada.

Each application sent to the Canadian government is assessed on its merit. While we have an experienced team who can assist with the application process, we do not have a direct advantage when applying.

What about accommodations?

Mexi-Can finds reasonable accommodation for the employee prior to their arrival in Canada. We will work with the employer to assure that the accommodations are situated in a place with easy access to the place of employment and necessary amenities.

Is there any ongoing support for the Mexican workers?

Mexi-Can is committed to the employee after they arrive in Canada. We work with consultants to assure that any challenges that may arise during the work term are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner. We realize that the Mexican worker is an employee of the sponsoring company, so we will assure that there is a support system available during off-work hours.

Can the worker switch companies mid-term?

A worker may switch employers mid-term; however, the proper paperwork and documentation must be completed and approved by the Canadian government in order to do so.

How does the worker get home when the term ends? Can they return to the same employer for another term?

Part of the fees associated with recruiting the worker through Mexi-Can includes an open ended return flight to Mexico. This flight is purchased before the worker arrives in Canada. Close to 100% of the employees want to return to the same employer again.
